Before You Start
Follow this checklist before setting up your VPN to ensure maximum account safety:
- Factory reset your device OR use a new/dedicated phone
- Remove SIM card (use WiFi only)
- Disable location services
- Set timezone to US Eastern or Pacific
- Set language to English (US)
- Clear all app data from previous social media apps

Choose Your Platform
iPhone/iOS Setup
Download YourVPN App
Download from the App Store or use the link in your welcome email.
Sign In
Open the app and sign in with your YourVPN credentials.
Select US Location
Choose a US city. Los Angeles for entertainment, New York for business content.
Enable Always-On
Settings > VPN > YourVPN > enable "Connect On Demand".
Verify Connection
Visit whatismyip.com in Safari. Confirm US location before downloading social apps.
Android Setup
Download YourVPN App
Download from Google Play Store or use the APK link from welcome email.
Grant Permissions
Allow VPN permission when prompted.
Sign In and Select Location
Sign in, select a US residential server. Stick with ONE location.
Enable Always-On
Settings > Network > VPN > enable "Always-on VPN" and "Block connections without VPN".
Disable Battery Optimization
Settings > Apps > YourVPN > Battery > "Don't optimize".
Desktop Setup
Desktop is useful for account management but not recommended for posting.
Download Desktop App
Download from your account dashboard. Windows 10+ and macOS 11+.
Install and Configure
Install, sign in, select US server. Enable "Launch on startup".
Enable Kill Switch
In settings, enable "Kill Switch" to block internet if VPN disconnects.
